Mechanic

You will be joining the CYLINDER TEAM at REM-B Hydraulics, which ensures the fast and durable repair of hydraulic cylinders. Working alongside a team of about 15 colleagues, you will be working as a MECHANIC on faulty hydraulic cylinders. You will do this at your own dedicated workbench. In concrete terms, your duties will look like this:

• You will work in a small, independent team within the cylinder department
• You will work based on job sheets
• You will dismantle faulty cylinders, inspect them, and draw up a damage report
• Once the customer has agreed to the proposed solution and the necessary spare parts are available, you will carry out the repair
• After assembly, you will also perform the final pressure test yourself
• You will help maintain our workshop and its equipment

• You hold at least a diploma in mechanics, mechanical design techniques, or electromechanics, or have equivalent experience
• Ideally, you have gained some initial work experience as a mechanic, but school leavers are also welcome!
• You have a hands-on mentality: you see what needs to be done and take responsibility.
• You work with precision and are familiar with using accurate measuring tools such as micrometers, callipers, etc.
• You don't mind getting your hands dirty.
• You enjoy contributing ideas and making constructive suggestions for improvements.
• You are an approachable and communicative team player.
• You can operate an overhead crane or are willing to learn how.
